DAY 1

ARRIVAL AT KILIMANJARO INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT

As you walk out of Kilimanjaro International Airport, your personal Sambala Tours guide greets you with a big smile: “Karibu Tanzania - welcome to Tanzania!”

The guide takes you straight to your hotel where you can relax and enjoy the African atmosphere. The next day you begin your private safari at your own pace.

Day 2 - 3

Tarangire National Park - luxury style!

In the majestic Tarangire National Park, the focus lies on grandeur - cross paths with the countless gigantic baobab trees, in search of vast herds of elephants.

And these giants are not the only large game you find here, since the Tarangire River and Lake Burunge attract countless lions, zebras, giraffes, leopards, cheetahs, pythons, and monkeys to their waters.

For smaller species, the grandeur lies in the numbers, as Tarangire is also an absolute haven for birdwatchers!

Day 4

A taste of culture - Mto wa Mbu: Mountain bike ride & Maasai village

Mto wa Mbu is a village close to Lake Manyara National Park, where it stands out as a green oasis in the middle of the surrounding Maasai plains.

Get a taste of culture and discover this lovely little village, the surrounding lush green nature, and the banana plantations by hopping on a mountainbike.

Then get off your bike to visit a nearby Maasai village, where some Maasai tribesmen tell you all about their way of life.

Day 5

Ngorongoro Crater - luxury style!

Today you descend into the wonderous caldera of the famous Ngorongoro Crater.

This is the day to start your game drive early when animals are plenty and tourists few! Feel the little hairs on your arms rise as you descend into the crater, awed by the sight of clouds hovering and the numerous animals in sight.

Coyotes, hyenas, buffaloes, wildebeests, gazelles, and many more animals can be found here and you are almost guaranteed to see them all.

Day 6

Serengeti National Park luxury style - by plane

Fly into the mind-blowing beautiful Serengeti National Park for the epitome of safari. See the infamous Big Five in all their glory, and, in certain months, wildebeests running by the thousands in the Great Migration.

And even without that; this is big-cat-paradise with prides of lions on kopjes, cheetahs in the long, yellow grass, and leopards in trees. You arrive in time for an amazing afternoon game drive into the sunset.

Day 7

Serengeti National Park - luxury style!

Anything you can think of when you picture a luxurious safari, you will surely find in Serengeti National Park. Not only the Big Five, the famous Great Migration, and a multitude of big cats, but also rarer species such as the gerenuk or the wild dog, and did we mention the plus 500 species of birds?

In between, you naturally spot antelopes, giraffes, elephants, zebras, hippos, and many more animals. Make sure to wake up at sunrise for an epic balloon safari...!

Today you fly to the spice island of Zanzibar. Our guide picks you up at the airport and takes you to your hotel.

Over the next few days, you can discover white sandy beaches, crystal-clear turquoise waters and vibrant coral reefs.

Into culture? Then head to Stone Town and dive into the history of this fascinating little town.

Food lovers can also visit the spice plantations and discover the diverse flavours of the delicious local cuisine. A tropical paradise awaits you!
